Lasers are used to remove cosmetically disfiguring hairs due to hypertrichosis, hirsutism and pseudo folliculitis. The treatment is a non-invasive approach towards permanent reduction and long-term hair removal. Usually 6-8 treatment sessions are required with the spacing between treatments depending on the body area being treated. Areas of treatment includes the upper lip, chin and other facial areas, chest, underarms, bikini area, nipple & breasts; or even large areas like full legs or back. Laser treatment is less painful than waxing or threading and much quicker than electrolysis and other epilation methods. Complications are rare.
